Also known as water goose, poplar branch fish, and mouth fish, it belongs to the family Syngnathidae and genus Syngnathidae. Known as the "most elegant swimmer in the world" for its graceful swimming posture, and often referred to as the "ocean giant panda" due to its unique appearance and behavior. The average body length is about 30 centimeters, and the body is composed of bone plates. The snout is tubular, slender, and toothless. Its pectoral fins are located in the neck, and its dorsal fins extend along the spine to the back. The body is covered with flat, semi transparent appendages resembling seaweed leaves, which help it disguise itself in seaweed. Personality solitary, likes to live alone, weak swimming ability but strong sense of direction. Mainly feeds on shrimp and other small crustaceans and plankton.
