It is a small North American songbird known for its bright blue male feathers. Males exhibit dark blue feathers during spring and summer, while females and chicks typically appear brown with subtle chest lines. I like to inhabit fields and shrubs with overgrown weeds, and my singing is fast and exciting. Every note or phrase is repeated twice, and I can hear the singing from dawn to dusk. Food mainly includes seeds and insects, which migrate at night and use stars for navigation.
