It presents the typical modeling features of the tripod in the early Western Zhou Dynasty-the whole is a round tripod body, the mouth is folded outward and is provided with symmetrical vertical ears (ear holes are connected to facilitate lifting through ropes); The abdomen is deep and straight or slightly bulging, and the bottom is gentle to fit the three-legged support. The three legs are flat feet (according to the physical characteristics of the collection, they may be bird-shaped flat feet, bird heads are connected with bird heads, bird claws and bird tails, reflecting the popularity of animal-shaped feet in the early Western Zhou period); The joint between the tripod body and the foot is decorated with cicada stripes (cicada stripes symbolize rebirth and nobleness, and are common auspicious decorations of Shang and Zhou bronzes).
