It is a portable broadband receiver produced by Sony, widely used in shortwave monitoring and communications. It covers the frequency range of 150kHz to 108MHz and supports multiple modulation modes. By connecting a FRQ-80 frequency converter, its frequency coverage can be extended to 115.15 to 216MHz. Equipped with digital LCD display and keyboard input function, it has 40 scanning memory positions and supports multiple scanning modes. The top is also provided with a headphone jack and a recording output interface. Compact design, easy to carry. The power supply is four AA batteries, which can also be powered by an external 6V DC power supply.
