Amanita muscaria, also known as Amanita muscaria or toad mushroom, is a type of fungus in the phylum Basidiomycota that contains neurotoxic substances. It belongs to the genus Amanita. The fungal fruiting body is relatively large. The cap width is 6-20cm. The edge has obvious short edges, with a bright red or orange red surface and white or slightly yellow granular scales. The fungal folds are pure white, dense, free, and of unequal length. The mushroom flesh is white, and near the epidermis, it is red.
