Lohisari Estate, Finland
Askainen town, located in southwestern Finland, is a historic aristocratic estate. The building was completed in the mid-17th century and is a rare representative of palace style architecture in Finland. Not only is it a showcase of aristocratic life from the 17th to 19th centuries, but it is also the birthplace of one of Finland's greatest military leaders and presidents, Marshall Mannheim, thus attracting many tourists interested in Finnish history.
