Winter Soldier is an anti hero under Marvel Comics in the United States, first appearing in the first issue of Captain America. As a Winter Soldier, he first appeared in the first issue of Volume 5 of Captain America and was co created by Joe Simon and Jack Kirby. His real name is James Buchanan Barnes, and his nickname is Bucky. He was Captain America's closest comrade and strongest support during World War II. After sacrificing himself in the operation towards the end of World War II, Baki was resurrected by the secret scientific organization X Department of the Soviet Union. After brainwashing, he was transformed into the perfect assassin of the Soviet Cold War era, the "Winter Soldier". Later, he regained his memory through multiple battles with members of the Avengers.
