ceramic bowl
This is a ceramic bowl dating back to the second half of the 14th century. In 1990, it was discovered during archaeological research in the church of Tergovishtgertoglu. The bowl is high and slightly thickened at the edge, straight-walled, and annular at the bottom. The bowl body is coated with graphite inside and outside. Color: green, maroon, yellow. The center of the bowl is decorated with a geometric motif, the Star of David. The arms of the star pattern are decorated with floral patterns. Dimensions: height 8.3cm, diameter 17cm.
Geometric pattern ceramic plate
It is a ceramic plate with a circular base and geometric pattern, belonging to the Conte style, made approximately between 700 and 1000 years ago, from the Gran Cocl é region. This ceramic plate is known for its unique Conte style colors (red, black on cream base, and red circular base). There is usually a typical humanoid pattern in the center of the plate, which appears in multiple plates of the same style, suggesting that it may represent some mythical image. This work not only serves as a practical dining utensil, but also reflects the aesthetic taste and cultural symbol of the society at that time.
Anglo Saxon cremation urn
This cultural relic was unearthed on Mount Love in Lincolnshire, England. It is 155mm high and 180mm in diameter. There is a rune inscription (Si 동æ b æ d - a person's name) on this urn, which is one of the earliest Old English scripts. This cultural relic is currently housed in the British Museum.
Cleveland Museum of Art Collection Black Pottery Neck Jars: Hercules and Nemeia Lions, Dionysus, Goat Gods and Fanatical Goddess
This Greek Athens pottery has a total height of 39.8cm and a diameter of 29cm. It was purchased by the Andrew R. and Martha Holden Jennings Foundation in 1970. On the front of the wine jar, Hercules, one of Greece's greatest heroes, is shown wrestling with a lion of Nemeia, who wears a lion's skin as a trophy for protection. Athena, the patron goddess of Hercules, stands with her nephew Iolaus (armed with the Hero's Stick). On the other side, a scene unrelated to the former is shown, depicting Dionysus, the god of wine, with the dancing fanatical goddess and the goat god.
