Chevrolet Camaro RS 327 V-8 produced in 1967
The 1967 Camaro, released on September 26, 1966, was designed based on the Chevrolet Nova. The basic design of the Camaro adopts a monolithic body structure from the windshield to the rear firewall, with a single steel pipe subframe supporting all front components. The dual swing arms form a front independent suspension system, while the fixed rear axle is suspended by semi elliptical steel plate springs. As a typical modern car standard configuration, its braking is achieved through four brake drums, with slow steering and manual operation.
