SOBERG CHAIR
This iconic Danish design furniture was designed by the famous designer Børge Mogensen (Berger Mogensen) in 1950. While participating in a low-cost furniture design competition at the Museum of Modern Art in New York in 1948, Mogensen began experimenting with the technique of molded plywood combined with his signature solid wood functionalist design, which resulted in the chair. It combines traditional joinery craftsmanship with modern technology, curved and wide plywood seating and backrest, designed to provide a comfortable ergonomic experience.
