Shuangjilong is known for its unique head features, which include a pair of distinct bony processes on the top of the head that may have been used for display or as communication tools. The body length is about 6 to 7 meters and the weight can reach half a ton. It is a fast and agile predator that feeds on small dinosaurs and other animals. Strong jaw, sharp teeth, suitable for tearing prey. It is depicted in popular culture as being able to spray venom, but this feature has not been confirmed in fossil records.
