American Pit Bull Terrier
The pit bull originated in the United States in the 19th century and is a descendant of Stafford and Bulldog mating. Also known as American Bitdog or American Bulldog. The Bitdog is a breed of dog that has been bred to possess endurance, strong biting power, tough skin, and well-developed muscles. These characteristics make up its powerful 'protective armor', which is used to fight against other dogs and is therefore used in dogfighting. Due to its extreme aggressiveness, some countries have enacted laws restricting the breeding of pit bulls, and even explicitly prohibiting the keeping of pit bulls.
