Grand Theft Auto V is an open world action game based in Southern California and Los Angeles. Grand Theft Auto V is a 2013 open world action adventure game developed by Rockstar North. It is the seventh major work in the Grand Theft Auto series after Grand Theft Auto IV in 2008 and the fifteenth installment. The single player game story is set in the fictional San Andreas, based on Southern California, and tells the story of three main characters - retired bank robber Mike D'Arta, street gangster Franklin Clinton, and drug dealer and gunman Trevor Phillips.
