Arthas is a character in the large-scale multiplayer online role-playing game "World of Warcraft" and its derivative works produced by Blizzard. Arthas Menethil is a prince of the Kingdom of Lordaeron and a member of the Silver Hand Knights. He is the son and crown prince of King Menethil II, trained as a paladin by Uther the Lightbringer. Despite having a bright future at the beginning, Arthas eventually became the most powerful and evil entity in the history of Azeroth. After picking up the cursed Frostmourne, he became a death knight of the Scourge and led the army of undead to destroy Lordaeron, Quel'Thalas, and Dalaran.
