Maotai liquor, a specialty of Maotai Town, Renhuai City, Zunyi City, Guizhou Province, China, is a national geographical indication product. Maotai liquor is a traditional Chinese specialty liquor. One of the world's three famous distilled spirits, alongside Scottish whisky and French Cognac, and also one of China's three famous spirits, the "Five Swords of Maotai". It is also the ancestor of Daqu Maotai flavor Baijiu, with a history of more than 800 years.
