Muse Erato Fountain
The fountain is located in Theater Square in Baden, and the statue was designed by Josef Valentin Kassin and built in 1902. Erato is the Muse who plays the lira, and she is one of the nine Muses in Greek mythology. Erato is the muse of love poetry, lyric poetry, song, and dance, and the daughter of Zeus and Menemosine. This fountain and statue are not only works of art, but also part of the cultural heritage of the city of Baden, reflecting the rich history and mythological traditions of the region.
