Panasonic S-XBS cassette player
The Panasonic S-XBS tape drive has a tape width of 0.15 inches (4mm), also known as 4mm tape. Due to the use of spiral scanning technology in the magnetic tape storage system, the magnetic tape has a high storage capacity. DAT tape systems generally use write read and compression technology, which not only improves system reliability and data transfer rate, but also increases storage capacity. The storage capacity of a single DAT tape can reach 12GB, and there are many manufacturers of DAT tapes and drives, making it a promising data backup product.
