Triumphal Arch

The Arc de Triomphe (French: L'Arc de Triomphe) is located on the Champs - É lys é es in the central area of Paris, the capital of the French Republic. It is situated in the center of Place Charles de Gaulle and was built under the leadership of Emperor Napoleon Bonaparte to celebrate the victory in the Battle of Austerlitz.
