Pyramid Ice House
The refrigerated igloo, built in 1791-1792, is a pyramid in sight to the north of the Marble Palace to preserve perishable food. In winter, the ice is removed from the nearby Hailig Lake and stored in the lowest layer of the cellar about 5 meters underground.
