Originally designed by VAZ, its design inspiration comes from LadaSamara, aimed at participating in GroupB rally events. Due to the cancellation of the GroupB event, Lada turned her attention to the GroupS event and developed the S-Proto prototype car. The car features a mid engine and rear wheel drive layout, equipped with a reinforced 1.6-liter four cylinder engine that can output approximately 150 horsepower, specifically designed for rally racing.
