Shan Ci Mei is a plant of the Rosaceae family and the Rosaceae genus. Upright shrub, about 1.5 meters high; Branchlets are cylindrical, purple brown or gray brown in color. Small leaves 7-9, small leaf segments long circular or broadly lanceolate, flowers solitary in leaf axils, or 2-3 clustered; Bracts ovate, petals pink, ovate, fruit subglobose or ovoid, red, sepals persistent, erect. The flowering period is from June to July, and the fruiting period is from August to September. Distributed in provinces and regions such as Heilongjiang, Jilin, Liaoning, Inner Mongolia, Hebei, and Shanxi in China. It is also distributed in North Korea, eastern Siberia of Russia, and southern Mongolia.
