STG-44 Assault Rifle

STG-44 Assault Rifle

Also known as Sturmgewehr44, it was an automatic rifle developed and equipped by Germany during World War II. It is the world's first truly assault rifle, pioneering a new field of rifle design. Using 7.92 × 33mm Kurz intermediate power bullets, the effective range can reach 300-600 meters, with semi-automatic and fully automatic shooting modes, and a detachable 30 round box magazine for ammunition supply. The original intention of the design was to unify the weapons and ammunition of infantry squads, improve firepower and mobility. It had a profound impact on the later development of light weapons, including the famous AK-47 rifle.
