treble trumpet (short)
The short is one of the smallest and highest range instruments in the trumpet family. The tube of the short short short short short, the pitch is usually one octave higher than the standard trumpet. Most short numbers have four piston valves (as shown in the picture), and the fourth valve is used to help the player blow out the bass more easily and improve the pitch. The cornet is mainly used to play the high-pitched part of baroque music (such as Bach's Brandenburg Concerto), but also in modern classical music and some jazz works.
