Also known as the Belgian Shepherd or Belgian Tevdan, it is a smart, brave, and versatile working dog. Originating from Belgium, it belongs to one of the four major breeds of Belgian Shepherd Dogs. Having a rectangular body proportion, well-developed muscles, abundant fur, and an elegant appearance. The coat is long and straight, the ears are upright, the eyes are almond shaped, and the expression is smart and alert. They are excellent sheepdogs and guard dogs, with strong work drive and loyalty. Very friendly to family members, but wary of strangers, becoming an excellent watchdog. It is also widely used in search and rescue, police work, military services, and disability assistance.
