Lar: Bronze Statue of the Roman Protector of Religion
Lar is the patron saint of Roman religion. At first, he was a god of farmland, and later he was worshipped along with the household god Ponates. The family god Lal is the center of the family worship ceremony, often depicted as a young man holding a wine horn in one hand and a wine cup in the other. There are often two separate rals next to Vesta or some other deity. People pray to Lal every morning and offer offerings to Lal during family holidays. The public's protection of the area with Cross Street; The national god Ra (known as the Protector) is a Roman patron saint worshipped in the temple on Via Sacra.
