Moles are a class of small mammals belonging to the mole family, known for their underground lifestyle and almost exclusively underground activities. Mainly distributed in forests, grasslands, and farmland in Eurasia and North America. They are short in size, usually with short and sturdy legs and sharp claws, which make them excellent excavators. Their vision is poor, but their other senses, such as touch and smell, are highly developed, helping them navigate and search for food in dark underground environments. Mainly feeds on insects, worms, and plant roots. The complex tunnel system excavated helps them move quickly and evade predators.
