Arches in the style of Muqarnas
Three-dimensional decorative design, widely used in Islamic architecture, in which a hierarchy of individual elements, including cells, brackets and pendants like niches, protrudes from the level below. Mukanas decoration (usually made of plaster, masonry, wood, and stone), commonly used throughout the Islamic world from the twelfth century onwards to the cornices, corner arches, domes, interior surfaces of vaults, and other parts. Looking from the bottom up, when the light shines on its deeply carved and symmetrically designed surface, Mukanas will present an amazing visual effect.
