It is a mammal belonging to the family Canidae in the order Carnivorous, also known as a badger hunting dog. Named after its short limbs and body resembling sausages. Produced in Germany, it is divided into three types of fur: short haired, long haired, and hairy. Its body shape is divided into standard and mini types. Long lifespan, up to 15 years or more, lively and loyal personality, suitable for being a companion dog. Having a sensitive sense of smell, easy to train, but not suitable for jumping training to prevent spinal displacement. Likes to play and have a low amount of exercise, suitable for apartment breeding. It was introduced into Britain in the mid-19th century. At the beginning of the 20th century, the British bred a miniature dachshund, which became the official mascot of the Munich Olympic Games in Germany in 1972.
