Swedish Lighthouse Ship Model
In use in the 19th century, they were anchored in places where it was impractical to build lighthouses, providing navigators with lights and various warning devices as a navigational aid. Built from 1922 to 1923, it was manufactured in Karlskrona and served in the Grundkallen between Oran, Finland and Sweden. Built by the crew KarlGLarsson, he worked on the actual ship and built this model between 1928 and 1932. It is usually painted red and the name is marked in capital white letters on both sides of the hull.
