The rhinoceros beetle, known as the unicorn, belongs to the subfamily rhinoceros tortoises of the Coleoptera golden tortoidae. The head and the front and back of the chest have obvious prominent fork angle, shaped like rhinoceros horn, hence the name. The body is large, including sharp corners, the body length can reach more than 6 inches, and the strength is amazing. It is mostly distributed in tropical regions, especially in Central America and South America, with more species in Africa and Oceania, and relatively few species in Asia. Belongs to completely metamorphic insects. The adults like to fly at night where there is light or by the oak forest. The larvae develop in rotting plants, piles of dead leaves or holes in trees, and in compost. The adults feed mainly on plant secretions or vegetables.
