Malaysia giant tree gladiator is a huge mantis, body length up to 15-18cm, is one of the largest mantis in the world. The body is flat and slender, dendritic, with a high camouflage ability, mainly distributed in Malaysia, Sumatra, Java and Borneo and other places. The head is triangular and can rotate freely, with a wide field of vision. The front legs resemble sickles with spikes and are suitable for catching prey such as insects, frogs, birds and small snakes. Wings with markings, hidden under the body, flight ability is limited. The female abdomen has six ventral segments, which are large and bulging; the male abdomen has eight ventral segments, which are relatively small.
