The scientific name of long-body loach is Sewellia elongata, the subfamily of cyprinid loach, the extension of the body is eel-shaped, the pectoral fin and ventral fin are specialized as sucker-shaped, and the body surface has black stripes or spots, adapting to the rapids environment. It is mainly distributed in Southeast Asian streams, such as northern Vietnam, Laos and tributaries of the Pearl River in Guangxi, China.
