The Archduke Albrecht is a monument to the Archduke Albrecht located on a slope in front of Vienna's First District. This equestrian statue was built in 1899 to commemorate Archduke Albrecht, who was the Marshal and Inspector General of the Austro Hungarian army. This statue was created by sculptor Caspar von Zubushi and was officially unveiled on May 21, 1899, the 90th anniversary of the Battle of Aspern.
